You guys can have multiple mail ids (Email address) with one gmail account. Confused!!!
Let me explain - you can have multiple email address of your existing gmail account by adding jus "+" symbol after your actual user name then add anything followed by ATgmailDOTcom.
Example for you:
For time being an example email id sharATgmailDOTcom is an actual mail id. In general everyone will give this as their communication email address. But we can also can create multiple email addresses with this actual email id, like
shar+xxxxxATgmailDOTcom
shar+yyyyyATgmailDOTcom
shar+zzzzzzzATgmailDOTcom
When they send me at this address it first goes to gmail server where it recognize it as sharATgmailDOTcom and avoids “+” sign and anything after it. So any mail send to shar+ anythingATgmailDOTcom come in my inbox.
To impress your Boyfriend/Girlfriend tell him/her your email id as yourmail+ yourmateATgmailDOTcom.
Note: To check ur mail you have to login as yourmailATgmailDOTcom that is in my case it is sharATgmailDOTcom without “+” sign.
